Meet the Maker

Hi, I’m Brittney Adams, and my journey to founding Allure & Bloom wasn't a straight line. For years, I worked within the fast-paced, demanding restaurant industry. While it kept me driven, I constantly felt a quiet craving for something more—an artistic outlet that brought true personal fulfillment. I always knew I possessed a deeply creative and artistic spirit, but for the longest time, I struggled to find the exact place in the world where that passion was meant to take root.

That turning point finally arrived during a period of profound heartbreak. In 2024, my world was completely upended when my beloved dog, Bones, passed away at nine years old. Bones was a true warrior. Back in 2020, he was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney failure, but he defied all the odds, fiercely fighting the illness to give me four more beautiful, unforgettable years of companionship. When his battle finally came to an end, the grief was overwhelming. I felt more lost and disconnected than ever before, navigating a deep, heavy quiet.

Desperate to find a creative spark to ground myself and bring some light back into my life, I decided to look into the art of candle making one day. The moment I began working with the wax and fragrances, I fell completely in love. It became my sanctuary.

Channeling my energy into this craft allowed me to heal and finally unleash my artistic eye. Designing the detailed shapes and sweet aesthetics of my bakery collection brought back a sense of pure joy, while mastering the precise science of clean wax blends gave me a true sense of purpose. Candle making allowed me to achieve my ultimate dream: creating beautiful, inviting spaces that make people feel enveloped in warmth.
